Shirakabaso is a traditional Japanese style Ryokan hotel which is well located in Shiga Kogen ski resort and is only 2 minutes walk to the lifts and located opposite the bus terminal for easy access to the free ski shuttle bus around the resort and the bus from Nagano city. Located near the bottom of the onsen street, Hotel Hammond offers great facilities at a great price. The rooms are basic but the facilities are good with onsens for males and females as well as some couples baths that can be booked.

Zao’s most famous Ryokan which was established 1716 and has welcomed distinguished guests from all over the world as well as Japan including the current emperor of Japan when he was younger. The Ryokan is a beautiful traditionally constructed wooden building. Beautifully preserved and cared for this 300 year old building will enchant and the rooms will take your breath away.

The Ryokan offer traditional Japanese style hospitality (omotenashi) and is located at the top of the Zao Village shopping street so you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, Izakayas close by.

Hotel Jurin is another Ski in Ski out property for those avid skiers or families who want the convenience of easy access to the slopes.

Located beside the Uwanosai Ski slope, the lifts go past the front door, simply ski down to the lifts or the Sky Gondola which gives you access to the upper reaches of the resort.

Hotel Jurin also sits on the main Night skiing area of the resort and the lights make for a wonderful night view of the resort and surrounding areas.

About 500m and an 8 minute stroll from the Happo One ski resort gondola lift station, Hotel Taigakukan features hot spring baths and a restaurant. Both western and Japanese style rooms are offered, some with a private bathroom. Free WiFi access is available throuhout the entire property. Hakuba Happo bus terminal is a 4 minute stroll. The Nakayama ski area is an 4 minute walk, while the hotel is a 5 minute drive from JR Hakuba train station and Hakuba ski jump stadium is a 15 minute walk away.
