Takamiya Village Hotel Jurin
Hotel Jurin is another Ski in Ski out property for those avid skiers or families who want the convenience of easy access to the slopes.
Located beside the Uwanosai Ski slope, the lifts go past the front door, simply ski down to the lifts or the Sky Gondola which gives you access to the upper reaches of the resort.
Hotel Jurin also sits on the main Night skiing area of the resort and the lights make for a wonderful night view of the resort and surrounding areas.
Rooms are Japanese or western style and the Hotel has 2 onsen styles to enjoy for the tired muscles after a long day on the slopes.

Takamiya Ryokan Miyamaso
Zao’s most famous Ryokan which was established 1716 and has welcomed distinguished guests from all over the world as well as Japan including the current emperor of Japan when he was younger. The Ryokan is a beautiful traditionally constructed wooden building. Beautifully preserved and cared for this 300 year old building will enchant and the rooms will take your breath away.
The Ryokan offer traditional Japanese style hospitality (omotenashi) and is located at the top of the Zao Village shopping street so you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, Izakayas close by.
Located within a 5 minute walk to the ski resort, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy.
22 rooms at Miyamaso Takamiya are all unique with different features and styles, they are all beautifully and tastefully decorated and sure to impress, rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. A Japanese-style set breakfast and optional dinner are both available in the traditional dining room. Free Wi-Fi available.

Takamiya Hotel Hammond
Located near the bottom of the onsen street, Hotel Hammond offers great facilities at a great price. The rooms are basic but the facilities are good with onsens for males and females as well as some couples baths that can be booked.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby, as well as a small convenience store for supplies. They have a restaurant that offers a nightly nomihodai (all you can drink) package with your meal at a great price.
If you are looking for quality service, comfortable accommodation all at a great price then you can’t go past Hotel Hammond at Zao.

Takamiya Hotel Lucent
Hotel Lucent is situated just below the Chuo Ropeway in the centre of Zao, close to convenience stores, restaurants and shopping.
Access to the slopes is only 50m from the front door so it’s practically ski in ski out. The hotel has great facilities that include a great onsen, convenience store, restaurant and lounge area in the lobby.
Rooms are large and they have Japanese Style western style including some large two storey rooms with lounge spaces.
Hotel Lucent offers great value for money in a great location that won’t disappoint.

Zao Kokusai Hotel
Zao Kokusai Hotel is the ideal place to stay, relax and unwind in. You can enjoy a range of experiences amidst the grand scenery surrounding the hotel. The hotel features 65 rooms either Japanese style rooms with tatami flooring, spacious Western rooms or a combination of Japanese and Western style rooms. The property also offers complimentary wifi and a variety of different onsens that use milky white hot water, constantly flowing directly from the hot spring source. The hotel is design with wooden flooring and ceilings to further highlight the natural surroundings.

Yoshida Ryokan
Located at the heart of Zao Onsen just a 5 minute walk from Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Yoshidaya Ryokan offers Japanese style accommodation with mountain views. Yoshidaya provides complimentary wi-fi throughout the property and also has a 24/7 public indoor onsen bath. They are gender-segregated indoor onsens with what is to be called “beautiful skin bath” water. If you are interested in “bath-hopping” during your stay, there are 3 different bath houses near Yoshidaya (around a 2 minute walk). Zao Onsen has 1900 years of history, and is famous for the finest hot natural volcanic water.
Yoshidaya has 24 Japanese rooms with tatami mats, and there is also a connecting room perfect for a group of friends or a big family. Enjoy your Japan ski holiday at this traditional Japanese style ryokan.
Japanese style course dinner and a western style breakfast are available to be reserved, however reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance. Upon check-in Japanese breakfast can also be requested. All meals are served in the main dining room.
